Let’s get cookin’!

  1. Cook chicken. Unless you are using leftover chicken, add oil to a pan and sear up your chicken breast. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until the outside golden brown and the inside turns white (you can also measure the temperature with a food thermometer; chicken should be cooked to 165° F). Take off the pan and leave the pan to the side for later.

  2. Chop up chicken, lettuce and croutons. Chop your chicken breast into bite sized pieces and add to a bowl. Take your lettuce and chop into small pieces, if needed. Add your croutons to a plastic bag and crush into smaller pieces for easier use in the wrap. Add both into the same bowl.

  3. Add cheese and dressing. To the same bowl, add cheese and dressing. Mix well until evenly distributed.

  4. Wrap it up! Lay out your tortilla and add your filling to the center. Wrap it up into a burrito (it doesn’t have to be perfect!) so that your filling does not fall out while being cooked.

  5. Sear up on the pan. Add a small amount of oil to your pan and let it warm up. Place the open side of the tortilla down onto the pan (so that it is held closed at the bottom) and let sear until it becomes golden, crunchy, and stays together. Flip it over and repeat!

  6. Cut and serve! Cut it in half (or don’t) and serve with any side and dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
